Shipping policy

At Graham’s Fine Chocolates & Ice Cream, we take special care to ensure your chocolates arrive fresh and in excellent condition. Because chocolate is sensitive to temperature, our shipping methods and rates may vary throughout the year depending on the destination, weather conditions, and estimated transit time.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are generally based on the destination state and the shipping method needed to safely deliver your order.

During cooler weather, we offer a combination of UPS Ground and expedited shipping based on the destination and expected transit time.

During warmer months, additional precautions may be required to protect your chocolates from heat:

  • Nearby destinations: For locations that can typically be reached within one business day by UPS Ground, warm-weather shipping is generally $22.50, including the required ice pack and insulated packaging.

  • Other destinations: When overnight delivery is required due to warmer temperatures or longer transit times, shipping is generally $70, including expedited air shipping, a 24-hour ice pack, and insulated packaging.

  • Certain destinations or orders: Some orders may require a custom shipping rate based on package size, weight, weather conditions, or delivery requirements.

Shipping rates and methods may be adjusted throughout the year as temperatures and carrier transit times change.

Warm-Weather Shipping

Chocolate is sensitive to heat. During warmer weather, we may use expedited shipping, 24-hour ice packs, and insulated thermal packaging to help protect your order during transit.

We consider weather conditions at both our location and the shipment destination when determining the appropriate shipping method.

When weather conditions allow your order to travel safely using a lower-cost shipping method, we may adjust the shipment accordingly.

Shipping Days

To protect temperature-sensitive products and prevent packages from remaining at carrier facilities over the weekend, we do not ship on Fridays or over the weekend.

Certain expedited shipping methods may also have specific shipping-day requirements. Orders placed later in the week may therefore be held until the next appropriate shipping day.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with your order.

Please ensure the recipient’s name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code are complete and accurate before submitting your order.

Gift Notes

Sending Graham’s as a gift? Where available during the ordering process, you may include a personalized note for the recipient with your order.

Special Shipping Circumstances

Some destinations, weather conditions, or unusually large orders may require a customized shipping method or rate. If an adjustment is necessary, a member of the Graham’s team may contact you before your order is shipped.
